Andrew Roth
learned the intricacies of life's emotions the hard way by living
the hard way for several years; then he let his gentler side surface.

anything from a daunting character adept at martial arts to a
sweet soul trying to survive. Andrew channels the depth of his
own personal experience into each character he becomes.
He portrayed
physical characters such as Roy Parker, a carpenter-turned-gangster
in the independent film Inner Rage, a selection at the 2006 Cannes
Film Festival, dramatic roles including Joe Pitt in Angels In
America, and his comedic performance as a dimwitted hit man from
Scotland in the movie Down Clown.Recently Andrew began work on
four independent feature films, playing Jeremiah, a man with no
memory in Transcendence, Jim Fox, a loving husband in Axe Massacre,
Steve Ross, a spoiled rich kid in Killing Mr. Right, and Jack
Lacan a grifter in Fright World.
Some favorite
roles included Bud Shields, an alcoholic in a devout Catholic
family in the premiere performance of the play A House Divided,
Joe Kizzen a former military man struggling with his homosexuality
and his mind in the film Praxis, and the title role of Macbeth
in Arena Player’s production of Macbeth. |
